SERVICES
Services Offered
Gastroscopy
A diagnostic procedure using a flexible tube with a light and camera (gastroscope) to examine the lining of the esophagus, stomach, and first part of the small intestine. It helps in diagnosing conditions like ulcers and gastritis.
Colonoscopy
A medical examination of the large intestine (colon) using a long, flexible camera (colonoscope). This procedure can detect inflamed tissue, ulcers, and abnormal growths like polyps, and is crucial for colon cancer screening.
Sigmoidoscopy
Similar to a colonoscopy, but specifically focused on the sigmoid colon and rectum. A flexible tube with a camera inspects these areas for abnormalities, primarily used to investigate bowel symptoms and screen for colorectal cancer.
PEG Insertion
Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) insertion is a procedure to place a feeding tube through the abdomen into the stomach to provide nutrition directly. It is performed under endoscopic guidance.
PEG Replacement
The process of replacing an old or malfunctioning PEG tube with a new one to ensure continued nutritional support without interruption.
Endoscopic Sclerotherapy
A treatment for bleeding varices where a sclerosing solution is injected through an endoscope to seal the bleeding vessels, typically used for esophageal varices.
Endoscopic Variceal Ligation
A procedure to treat enlarged veins (varices) in the esophagus or stomach by applying rubber bands around them through an endoscope, effectively cutting off their blood supply.
Hemoclip Application
A method to control bleeding during endoscopic procedures. Small clips are applied to the bleeding site through an endoscope to stem the flow of blood.
Endoscopic Biopsy
The removal of small tissue samples during an endoscopic procedure for laboratory analysis to diagnose diseases or conditions in the digestive tract.
Snare Cautery Polypectomy
A technique to remove polyps from the lining of the colon using a snare loop through an endoscope, which cuts and cauterizes the polyp to prevent bleeding.
Colon Cancer Screening and Surveillance
A method to control bleeding during endoscopic procedures. Small clips are applied to the bleeding site through an endoscope to stem the flow of blood.
Diagnosis and Treatment of Liver, Gallbladder, and Pancreatic Diseases
A method to control bleeding during endoscopic procedures. Small clips are applied to the bleeding site through an endoscope to stem the flow of blood.
Abdominal Paracentesis
A procedure to remove fluid that has accumulated in the abdominal cavity (ascites), typically performed to relieve pressure or to analyze the fluid for diagnostic purposes.
