TRAINING PROGRAM

The Internal Medicine Residency Training Program at MCU-FDTMF Hospital is one of the pioneering programs in the country, accredited by the Philippine College of Physicians. Initiated by Dr. Angel E. Enriquez, the program has developed into a comprehensive curriculum that molds young physicians into compassionate, ethical, and well-rounded internal medicine specialists.
The program offers in-depth exposure to a broad range of internal medicine fields, supported by an extensive network of subspecialists and modern medical facilities. Throughout its history, the program has been enhanced by the contributions of its chairpersons, who have implemented innovations like the Modified Innovative Curriculum and outcomes-based education, aligning with contemporary medical education standards.
